Academic Programs

UIII offers a diverse range of academic disciplines, organized into specialized faculties that foster advanced scholarship and research. In its initial phase, the university has established four faculties:

  •  Faculty of Islamic Studies
  •  Faculty of Social Sciences
  •  Faculty of Economics and Business
  •  Faculty of Education

These faculties serve as the foundation for UIII’s commitment to excellence in higher education, with plans for future expansion into additional fields of study.

Academic Structure and Faculties UIII’s academic programs are designed to mirror the structure of leading graduate institutions worldwide, offering master’s and doctoral-level education. The university examines Islam and society through a multidisciplinary approach, utilizing well-established theories and methodologies from various fields. Rather than consolidating all studies under a single institution, UIII organizes its academic disciplines into distinct faculties, each fostering
specialized scholarship and research. A faculty serves as an academic hub that integrates and differentiates disciplines based on their foundational principles and methodologies. Each faculty accommodates multiple disciplines within the same branch of knowledge, ensuring depth and interdisciplinary engagement.

Faculty of Islamic Studies

Provides an interdisciplinary exploration of Islamic values, critically engaging with both foundational and contemporary sources of Islam

Faculty of Social Sciences

Houses sociology, political science, psychology, anthropology, and
geography, offering a broad perspective on social dynamics.

Faculty of Economics and Business

Covers economics, Islamic economics, digital economics, banking and
finance, Islamic banking and finance, and digital business, preparing
students for the evolving economic landscape.

Faculty of Education

Focuses on the history, philosophy, sociology, and anthropology of
education, bridging traditional and modern educational paradigms.

Future Expansion UIII envisions expanding its academic offerings by establishing at least seven faculties, incorporating new fields of study to enhance its global impact:

  • Faculty of Islamic Studies
  • Faculty of Social Sciences
  • Faculty of Economics and Business
  • Faculty of Education
  • Faculty of Science and Technology
  • Faculty of Law
  • Faculty of Arts and Architecture

Through this structured yet evolving academic framework, UIII aims to foster world-class
scholarship, contribute to the intellectual development of Muslim societies, and engage
in global academic discourse.
